Phone shop looted

A MOBILE phone and accessories shop in Port Moresby was broken into after a fight at a nearby night club.
The Fone Haus shop in downtown Port Moresby was attacked by opportunists yesterday morning.
National Capital District Metropolitan Superintendent Gedion Ikumu said two suspects had been arrested and detained by police at the town police station.
“The break-in occurred in the early hours yesterday following a fight involving drunks that erupted from a nearby nightclub,” he said.
Ikumu said phones, laptops and other electronic items were stolen.
