Pirates escape with 4-0 win

38 JETS scared pool B leaders Guava Pirates going down 4-0 in round six of the Morata Offseason Rugby League (MOSRL) women’s at the Kone Tigers Oval on Saturday.
The Jets put up an inspired effort against the more fancied Pirates conceding a lone try in the second half.
Pirates’ five-eighth Sandra Richard crossed for the game’s only points in the second stanza after scoreless opening half which saw both sides struggle in wet conditions.
