WITH a lot of movement of players between clubs during the window transfer period, matches in the National Soccer League competition are likely to be competitive.

In the Southern Conference, the movement of players has made a great impact on team performances over the weekend.

Huawei PS United, despite going down to Port Moresby 6-0, are not going to be an easy prey.

They staged a major coup in signing one of the top players in Eric Komeng from Hekari United.

Though he may have played out of position, he will be the key man for Huawei during the remainder of the eason.

Port Moresby, despite losing Basil Jofari to Gigira Laitepo, have secured the services of backline pillar Cyril Muta and Freddie Steven.

Both played well in supporting Neil Hans and Roland Bala ensure their win on Saturday.

Struggling Erema has acquired the services of Gary Moka to beef up their attacking power but failed to use it against Rapatona on the weekend.

They lost Cyril Muta to Port Moresby and will have to struggle defensively throughout the competition.

Gigira Laitepo have secured the services of Basil Jofari from Port Moresby and Clement Willis from PRK Rapatona to beef up their attack.

Willis, one of the best in the defensive business, will be hard to overlook by teams.

A Mungkas junior in Port Moresby soccer, he has made a great impact on Admiralty and Rapatona’s defence in his days with these two clubs.  He is a good buy for struggling Gigira Laitepo United.
