PM: No change for ministers yet

National

PRIME Minister James Marape says he will not rush into replacing his senior Cabinet colleagues who have crossed the floor,
“My friend (deputy PM) Sam Basil has not been decommissioned yet,” he said.
“His (National Labour) party members are still with the government and it’s up to him to enjoy the company he is with and for him to decide.
“We are not in a rush to make Cabinet decisions. They are there for us to relook at in the next week or so.
“These are things that we will make to ensure that the structure of government we set up isolates those who cause instability and secure those that we want to secure a long-term partnership into 2020 and beyond.” He urged the people not to be involved in the type of politics being witnessed.

  • Sam Basil should by now be sitting with his ass down instead of being a yoyo politician – his recent yo-yoing around seem to imply that he is power hungry (you are the deputy PM in the current govt what else do you want). The opportunity to become PM was starring at him right in his face when he was once the leader of PANGU Pati but he lost that opportunity by taking bad advice and associating himself with the wrong crowd of politicians which enabled James Marape to become the PANGU leader and consecutively the PM. A lot of us who have been your staunch supporters over the years have reconsidered our position and belief in you. Don’t make your way to the exits cos 2022 is just around the corner.

  • Blind people from Wau-Bulolo should not vote him next election. He is like the puppet of all puppets!

  • Olgeta em ol cohorts blong PO & BN. They waited till PMJM made a mistake and they all jumped ship. Is this not the same storyline. Why do we elect leaders who are indecisive. Leadership is about making decisions but it seems as if decisions are all about themselves.
