PUBLIC Motor Vehicle (PMV) operators in the National Capital District have called for a proper bus terminal at Gordon.

They say the current temporary bus stop at Unagi Oval is not suitable for them and unsafe for passengers.

“We are confused with this new location along the freeway, which we believe is unsafe for our vehicles to park in,” spokesman Win Lakatyo said.

Lakatyo, who is the Moresby-North-Eeast ward 12 president, urged the National District Commission to take immediate action to rectify the chaotic situation at the present bus terminal.

Land Transport Division Secretary Herman Wakia assured the PMV operators and the public that they would address the situation this week.
