PNG a developing country

Letters

Our people, especially our leaders, need to understand and accept the very fact that Papua New Guinea is a developing country.
It means more than 65 per cent of the total population does not have access to basic Government services.
Our country is abundantly blessed with a lot of resources: More than enough to fully develop our nation.
If I may quote one of our country’s major visions for 2030: “By 2030, every citizen of this country must have access to basic Government services.”
Every leader must therefore attune to our main national visions.
Unnecessary spending of huge sums of money on initiatives that will benefit just a handful or a single person should be disregarded.
It would be better for our elected leaders to make wise and rational decisions to manage this beautiful nation so that we, the citizens, should get the full benefits plus some bonus from what you elected leaders are investing into.
God Bless PNG.
