Sir Puka challenged

Letters

I AM frustrated with my Abau MP Sir Puka Temu for not delivering any of approved projects for my people in the past five years.
We are in the second quarter of the year and nothing has been done since his re-election to office in 2017.
I know my MP is a very outstanding leader in the national and international levels, but that quality does not reflect in his own electorate when it comes to tangible developments.
My people of Aroma travel many hours on the roads to do their marketing and businesses in Port Moresby city because of the bad road conditions.
Kore Highway has not been maintained for almost four years, and now the roads are getting worse every day.
It is good to see that the Oil Search-funded district hospital is now in its construction phase and I thank the Government of the day for its part in making this very important project happen in my district.
I wonder what would happen to those approved projects for respective wards that have been approved in the last term of Parliament.
My good MP, you are our inspiration, hero and model in the district.
To carryon from your legacy, we need to make some constructive and critical decisions in the best interest of our rural population and to make Abau a model district in the country in this term of parliament before you exit.
