PNG records 47 Covid cases over 24 hours

PAPUA New Guinea has recorded 47 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours ending 12pm on June 5, increasing the total number of cases to 16,374.The cases were reported in Chimbu (24 cases), Western Highlands (nine), Madang and National Capital District four each, Milne Bay three, and Morobe, Jiwaka and Hela a single case each.Of the 47 cases reported, 26 were males while 21 were females in the age range from 13 to 76 years. A total of 36 cases were showing symptoms of the Covid-19 at the time of testing.
