PNG Softball return Bais to top post

THE executive of PNG Softball Federation were re-elected unanimously for another three-year term at their annual general meeting at Star International Hotel on Saturday in Madang.
The AGM coincided with the recent 37th NGCB national championships.
The executives are Chris Bais (president), Ralph Tarasomo (vice-president), Harry Keket (general secretary) and Stanley Tavul (treasurer).
The coaching director position was vacant after incumbent Joe Lumaris resigned due to work commitments.
Bais thanked all affiliated associations for reinstating the executive saying it showed they had confidence in his team in continuing their administration.
He also thanked all the centres for making their way to Madang to participate in the softball championships.
All the affiliated centres attended except for Tabubil and AROB who were unable to due to a lack of funding.
The meeting also announced that New Ireland would host the 2013 championships in Kavieng next Easter.
