PNGDF officers complete leadership course

THREE women are among the first 17 PNG Defence Force soldiers who have completed a leadership course at Goldie Training Depot.
They are Lt Racheal Torovi and lance corporals Vicky Vareo,
from the Air Transport Wing, and Ronnie Dorcas, from headquarters.
According to one of the course facilitators Major Raphael Oa, the course, completed this week, targeted junior commissioned and non-commissioned officers.
The course began on Monday and ended yesterday with the presentation of certificates.
Defence Force deputy chief of staff Col Jeremy Ramsden said participants became the first to graduate from PNG Defence Force’s own programme prepared by officers.
