WAIGANI Christian School has had its prayers answered with the PNG Sustainable Development Program (PNGSDP) committing K350,000 for a new double classroom.

Principal Agnes Seiyari announced the good news at an end-of-term gathering with parents last Friday.

Seiyari said she and director Benjamin Mul had met with PNGSDP officials to sign documents for the classroom project.

“They (PNGSDP) are giving us K350,000 for a double classroom. The finances will be managed by them; the school will only get quotations,” she said.

“It’s a great blessing to the school.”

The school will be expanded on a piece of land at Waigani Heights.
