Police receive new gears

RAI Coast MP Peter Sapia presented 53 sets of uniforms and field gear to Ramu police last week in Madang.
Ramu rural police station commander Insp Edward Alphonse said the uniforms would boost the morale of his officers.
He said it would have cost a police officer more than K400 for a pair.
“I want to thank the member for his support to the local police,” Insp Alphonse said.
“I am looking forward to working with his office this year.”
He said the MP had promised to work with the police post as he was looking forward to the changes.
