Police recover stolen vehicle at private residence in city

THE Policing-the-Police Task Force Team recovered a stolen vehicle last Thursday at a private residence in Gerehu, Port Moresby.
Police, in a statement said the vehicle was part of the fleet that was used during Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) 2018.
The vehicle is black in colour with the registration BFM 646.
Police say the vehicle was stolen on Feb 8 at the Ela Motors Waigani showroom and hidden at a private residence at Cahuna Street, Gerehu Stage One.
It was recovered by the Policing-the-Police Task Force Team.
It was towed to Gordon Police Station for investigation and returned to Ela Motors.
Police say suspects involved in the theft are known.
The investigating team is working to arrest them.
