Police right to request local MP for funds

I REFER to a member of parliament who talked about police requesting for funds.

What the MP did not mention was that he has not built or upgraded the roads in his electorate to make it easy for the police.

The police’s barracks has not received any attention for the last 20 years except for two houses built by the Catholic Church for two policemen and their families to live in.

There is no assistance from the MP to purchase a vehicle for the police.

For the MP to complain in a public forum is childish.

Fix the roads, renovate the police houses, assist with a vehicle and he will see the police carrying out their duties.
