Political parties slack in educating voters

Letters

POLITICAL parties are slack in conducting awareness about their policies before the upcoming general election.
It has become a norm where parties just expect people to vote for their candidates without making their policies know.
This is not fair.
PNG, having a vibrant democracy, has more than 50 political parties, recently trimmed down to 44 due to non-compliance in meeting certain requirements.
Parties should be built on ideas and solutions to address challenges we face.
A number of political parties lack substance in their policies.
Most have duplicated policies.
Parties should only be allowed to register after proving the ability to reach out to people and addressing issues.
They should have policies that will help move us forward.
Parties have to have policies that will compel voters to vote for a parties rather than individuals.
Awareness on policies should be able to reach people.
