THE Gulf Isapea board, headed by chairman Jacob Ivaroa, has purchased three new sets of uniforms for Gulf West ahead of the upcoming Port Moresby Rugby Football League season.
He handed the uniforms, worth K13,000, to club president Bobby Ako.
Ivaroa said the A-Grade and Under-20 uniforms were in the traditional colours of black and white while the women’s jerseys were the reverse (white and black).
The uniforms have the picture of a crocodile on the front with scales on the sleeves and back.
Ivaroa said the uniforms would promote the club’s new image.
Ako thanked Ivaroa for continuing to support the club with uniforms, affiliation fees and player registration.
He also acknowledged Bige Petroleum owner John Bige for continuing to assist the club.
“The new uniforms will boost the morale and confidence of all our players ahead of the new season,” Ako said.
“They will look smart in the new uniforms.”
