WORK on the Modilon Road in Madang is slow, creating a nightmare for motorists who want it tar-sealed quickly.
A bus owner said he had been buying spare parts regularly, costing him a lot of money because of the poor road conditions. “I want the leaders to say how soon the road will be completed and sealed,” he said.
“We, as the taxpayers, want to enjoy the road service within the town.”
Madang traffic officers also confirmed that since the construction of the road, accidents had been occurring along the Modilon road.
