Port Moresby men’s softball into final round

Sports

SUNDAY will see the final round of matches in the Port Moresby Men’s Softball Association competition at the Bisini Diamonds.
It will be a test for the top sides as they look to maintain their composure leading up to next weekend’s semifinals. In the main fixture, PNG Power are geared to stop an equally-determined Saints outfit. In terms of experience, PNG Power have all the players to contain Saints and run out victors.
The Moni Plus Gazelle-Bears fixture is expected to be another interesting encounter.
Kikila Cats have a daunting task against reigning champions Brown Eagles, who will be keen to bounce back after their 0-1 to United Brothers last week.
Defence face Stingerz and Brothers meet Yokomo.
These are all interesting matches as the top sides look to maintain their positions on the ladder at the end of the regular season.
Brothers have led the competition from the start and are short odds to secure the minor premiership with the Eagles their nearest rivals.
These two sides have PNG Power right on their heels with the finals shaping up to be an interesting series.
