Post PNG secure darts title

POST PNG are the inaugural winners of the Huon Darts Association after beating Sergeant Gold 8-5 at Igam Barracks on Saturday.
The club also took out the minor premiership.
The grand final went down to the wire.
At the end of the doubles challenge, Post PNG finish on top with four stars to Sergeant Gold three stars.
The first singles was won by Post PNG to bring their tally to five stars but that did not hinder Gold’s chances to stay in the contest, with Tule Francis winning the second singles.
Post PNG won the third single through Nigel Kiaka extending the lead to 6-4.
But Gold, captained by Komok Jem, fought back in the fourth singles with Jack Eki narrowing Post PNG’s lead to 6-5.
However, Post PNG had the last laugh when Ricky Raurela secured the title for his side.
