AS a customer of PNG Power I wish to raise a concern here about the power supply along the Markham Highway.
It has been years now and we are not fully benefiting from this power supply.
I appreciate the service but it has not been the best.
We experience blackouts daily or even hourly and sometimes it takes weeks for the power to come back on. It is frustrating because we cannot preserve our frozen goods or use electric stove or washing machine.
Visitors or travellers use to think that we enjoyed the service but in fact we do not.
The lines and meter boxes bolted to our houses are mere decorations.
The responsible authority needs to look into it.
It is great seeing PNG Power opening new sites to be connected but it needs to provide a reliable service.
Please do something.
