Praise for Kundiawa fire station

I COMMEND Chimbu Governor Michael Dua and Acting Chief Fire Officer Bill Roo for signing the memorandum of understanding proposing to establish a fire station at Kundiawa.
The governor’s proposition of establishing fire station in Kundiawa is a welcome news and timely as we have seen a lot of new business houses, government institutions and churches popping up within the vicinity of the town lately.
They, however, vulnerable and prone to fire as we have no proper safety measures in place.
We witnessed an instance where a restaurant in the heart of town was completely destroyed by fire.
I believe this unfortunate situation will never repeat again as we have a good governor with the backing of the current National Government bureaucrats will certainly expedite the process and ensure the establishment of fire station becomes reality.
