Presentation criticised

THE presentation of K100,000 to Caritas Technical Secondary School to help support their annual school cultural show by the Education Minister Joseph Yopyyopy is unfair to other schools in NCD and other rural schools in the country that urgently need repair on their run down infrastructures such as toilets.
Can the good minister visit Wardstrip Primary School and elementary school and see for himself the ablution block building?
The school was closed last month because of toilet blockage and we parents had to contribute to meet the cost of renovating the toilet building.
If that K100,000 was diverted to good cause like renovating ablution blocks it would have been commendable rather than investing in cultural show.
Many schools need K100, 000 to be functional rather than investing in areas which will add no values to student learning.
We urge the good minister to invest in areas where it is beneficial for students learning.
