President Lelai visits Madang basketball

BASKETBALL Federation of Papua New Guinea president Karo Lelai paid a morale-boosting visiting to Madang Basketball Association on Sunday.
She was on duty travel for her fulltime job, but managed to allow time on her schedule to squeeze in the courtesy visit to the courts to watch a couple of exciting Under-14 matches and appreciate talents that were on display in the association’s competition.
Lelai met association president Jonathan Orme to find a way forward for the competition.
“The federation looks forward to the association returning to the fold, bringing with it an exciting crop of U14s to boost our sport in this part of the country,” the sport’s national governing body said in a statement.
