Prices of kerosene, diesel increase

 THE price of kerosene will increase by 13.38 toea per litre while diesel will go up by 9.09 toea.

Petrol will drop by 0.14 toea per litre.

This was announced by the Independent Consumer and Competition Commission (ICCC) last week.

ICCC said it had received an advice from InterOil about the new fuel prices.

ICCC chief executive Dr Billy Manoka said prices for diesel and kerosene increased respectively this month, while the price for petrol has dropped slightly.

The increase was attributed to in Import Parity Prices (IPP) as a result of increase in crude oil price in the international market.
