Priest helps set up tanks

A CATHOLIC priest with 20 years of service in Enga and Chimbu has overseen the installation of 10 water tanks.
Fr Peter Kim, a Society of the Divine Word missionary is from South Korea.
On Sunday, Fr Peter blessed a 5,000-litre tank he set up at the remote Gomgale outstation of Yuri parish, Kundiawa diocese, Chimbu.
Church leader Peter Bada said Fr Peter, apart from his spiritual administration had helped in building up all the outstations of the three parishes in Gumine which were the main parish Dirima, Yuri and the most remote Nondri.
Fr Peter has been administering the three parishes for five years and his notable social work was the building and commissioning of the maternity ward at Dirima community health post.
Fr Peter will leave the country for his sabbatical leave before the end of this year to South Korea.
