Prima gets behind defending champions

Meat products manufacturer Prima Smallgoods recently assisted the Prima Power women’s soccer club with new sets of uniforms.
Prima had sponsored the Lahi Soccer Association club for the last four years.
Team manager Rose Obi commended the company for supporting the club again this season.
Obi told The National that the club was preparing for the upcoming Football Federation of PNG-sanctioned regional club championships to be hosted during the Queen’s Birthday period from June 8-11.
“We are preparing for the National Premier League tournament which we are the defending champions in the women’s division,” Obi said.
“We will be competing again this year.
“Through the Chow family’s assistance, the relationship goes back some 11 years, with the Lae Biscuit Company and Raumai 18 supporting the club also.”
