Yallon to run Wabag league

THE Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League recently appointed Robin Yallon the new administrator of the Wabag Rugby League.
In a letter dated April 13, PNGRFL chairman Sandis Tsaka said Yallon from the Piio tribe of Laekemanda village in the Wabag district, who is a lawyer by profession, had been given the task of managing the WRL for the rest of 2018.
Yallon will be expected to administer the affairs of the Wabag league under the supervision of PNGRFL
“He will convene an annual general meeting of the Wabag league and elect an executive and management to take up the running of their local competition,” Tsaka added.
Yallon has links with local club Prum Panthers which has produced noted players such as Digicel Cup talent in Rex Yallon (Lae Snax Tigers) and former Enga Mioks player Crayony Yallon .

He said Yallon would bring the right management skills to see the league develop its potential.
