Probe into foreigners holding jobs illegally

ACTING chief migration officer Robert Kennedy says a special investigation taskforce team will investigate allegations of foreigners being illegally employed in the country.
He said that this team would investigate allegations that some politicians had dual citizenships.
“There has been so much abuse, corruption, visa fraud, passport delays and genuine foreigners been unnecessarily deported while convicted criminals allowed back into the country,” he said.
“And all these continue to portray a bad image to the Immigration system as it’s evident in the public domain.”
Kennedy said he would invite the public to provide complaints of being abused by foreigners.
“Let me inform this country that I will now set up a complaints desk to seriously address these pressing issues and will hold every immigration officer accountable for any discrepancies, extortion and bribery allegations as directed by my minister.
“Further to that, a new special investigation taskforce team will be put together to investigate all the allegations raised against the department, and will be required to travel the length and breadth of our country, to all provincial towns and into the rural areas to conduct inspections. The issues of visa breach, tax evasions and other illegal activities conducted by unscrupulous foreigners will be thoroughly investigated to give confidence to the citizens and promote genuine foreign investment to stimulate economic growth.”

  • Kennedy you are doing fine boy. But please stick to it as these guys are too sticky and you will shut up very soon.

  • Are we serious?! Do we know what we are talking about? Do we know our jobs? Come On!!
The last paragraph of the acting secretary’s article makes me wonder. IT SEEMS LIKE COMING FROM THE PRIME MINISTER. It does not make any sense at all to me. Maybe,,, mi liklik tingting man.

  • More sweet talk from a man who is in a temporary position of trust as the acting chief migration officer…why tell the public your plan now as we all know the stench and rot in this game of bringing in foreigners especially when the migration department is in the fore front of it all…good one Kennedy hopefully he sweet talk will ring bells in his minister’s ears and land him the permanent position he is longing for.
