Project unaffected by Covid-19

WORK on the K296 million retail and residential project, Rangeview Precinct, at Waigani in Port Moresby has not been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, according to Nambawan Super Ltd.
A spokesperson from the superfund said they were fortunate that all the employees had been working throughout the pandemic and no jobs had been lost.
“Contractors were able to plan well and ensure that everything was on schedule,” the spokesperson said.
“As a result, the residential section of the project, known as Rangeview Estate, will be completed in mid-2021 and the retail section, Rangeview Plaza, slightly thereafter.”
The spokesperson said the project had been the focus of a lot of interest.
“In the not too distant future, there will be a marketing campaign showcasing all that the project offers for Port Moresby,” the official said.
“The residences will offer something different to the tenants and the new plaza will bring a lot more variety to the residents of Port Moresby.”
Rangeview is a public-private partnership with the National Capital District Commission providing the land while Nambawan Super and Lamana contributed funding.
The completed development will include 88 residential townhouses and approximately 12,000 square metres of leasable retail and commercial floor space.
Work on the project began with the ground breaking ceremony in 2018.

  • Excellent management, construction on schedule and located within the government seat of authority WAIGANI provides an opportune opportunity for growth and greater success and benefits to superfund contributors like me into the future and going forward. Well done.

  • I think the developers should consider selling some of the residential townhouses instead of trying to only lease them out….the super found and NCDC should try to allow Citizens to own their own properties
