Promo gets teacher into capital

Teachers Savings and Loan Society’s (Tisa) December promotion has given a teacher the chance to make her first visit to Port Moresby.
Tisa said in a statement that it was a dream come true for its winner Noreen David as she had never been to Port Moresby before nor had she travelled on a plane.
David is a teacher at St Marry’s Primary School in Lae.
The promotion was for Tisa members to use their Yumi cards to shop to a value of K50 or more and their transaction would allow them to enter the draw which started on Nov 1 and ended on Dec 15.
The draw with over 11,000 entries was conducted by Tisa acting group chief executive Igimu Momo with the announcement of the winner last Tuesday.
Prizes included hotel accommodation for two at The Stanley Hotel and Suites with K1,000 spending money credited to the winner’s Yumi account.
The bonus prize offered from Tisa was the business class return airfares for Noreen and her sister Carolyn to be able to experience “amazing” Port Moresby, particularly during the festive season when lights lit the main parks around the city along with shops conducting Christmas sales.
