Proper clan vetting should be done

Letters

CAN Prime Minister James Marape, Governor-General Sir Bob Dadae, Petroleum and Energy minister Kerenga Kua, operator ExxonMobil and other stakeholders immediately do a proper clan vetting?
As one of the clan on the determination I have been very quiet on this till now.
This matter is a serious problem and should be addressed to the relevant authorities.
Department of Petroleum and Energy officers have never walked the actual length of the pipeline to identify land boundaries and its true owners like Chevron has done.
The truth is, they only went into Babeio village and asked people there about the landowner.
They made a big mistake by taking wrong people’s pictures and records.
As as a result, some people who aren’t actual landowners are benefiting from royalties.
The Department of Petroleum and Energy has lied to the country and the landowners through their lack of professionalism.
