Protect our borders from illegal entry

Letters

WE should look ourselves in the mirror before complaining and releasing media statements about foreign investors illegally entering Papua New Guinea.
As citizens of this country, we have all agreed that this country should be free from corruption.
We have our armed forces and immigration officers to avoid such situations but it’s not working.
Why weren’t these foreigners apprehended at the first place?
Did we not carefully watch our borders?
Maybe these foreigners are tiny as ants that they slipped into our country without detection.
We have to act early before such breaches ruin us later on.
The police should be careful then arresting them and avoid assaulting them and stealing their belongings. We need investors in the country therefore we cannot paint a bad image of ourselves.
