THE NCD Football Association (NCDFA) has called on the public to turn up in numbers for its seven-a-side finals at Papua New Guinea Football Stadium tomorrow.
NCDFA president Vonnie Kapi Natto said she was thankful to all the clubs that took part in the two-week tournament.
“It was very exciting, and now we are looking forward to this weekend’s finals,” she said.
“It was exciting because we saw so much untapped talent from unknown clubs.”
Kapi Natto pointed out Rigo team Mataio FC as an example. They are the team to watch after holding School of Government FC to a scoreless draw.
“My executives and I are very excited about it,” she said.
“We are building NCDFA to be friendly and transparent. We want everyone to be part of it.
“If you have nothing to do this weekend, please come along and watch entertaining football. The gate fee is only K2 for adults and K1 for children.”
Meanwhile, there will be managers meeting at PNG Football Stadium from 4-5pm tomorrow.
There will be prizes, and golden boot and glove awards.
The most valuable player honour will be awarded to footballers who performed well during the tournament.
