Puma extends sponsorship for medical ship

PUMA Energy has extended its sponsorship support for the Youth With A Mission Medical Ships Australia (YWAM MS) PNG for two years valued at K1.6 million.
The funding agreement was signed between YWAM Medical Ships and Puma Energy aboard the YWAM’s training and medical ship, MV YWAM PNG, last Wednesday in Port Moresby.
A joint statement from the partners said, Puma Energy’s total investment since 2015 was about K7 million.
Puma Energy’s PNG country manager Jim Collings said the support towards YWAM MS as in alignment with the company’s mission of energising communities.
“Fuelled by Puma Energy, the MV YWAM PNG and its team of 100 plus volunteers, travel to isolated communities to deliver essential healthcare and training in with local health providers,” Collings said.
“We are privileged to be supporting an organisation who are helping to strengthen health in rural areas while also providing wonderful volunteering opportunities for PNG’s health professionals.”
