Put aside differences

Letters

THIS is my observation regarding to the ongoing political feud between former prime minister and member for Ialibu-Pangia Peter O’Neill and current Treasury Minister Ian Ling-Stuckey.
There is no concrete evidence to substantiate who is right and who’s not.
This debate is only a blame game and it all started when Ian Ling-Stuckey was the shadow Treasury Minister in the opposition criticising O’Neill’s economic mismanagement.
Let this debate be the thing of the past as both of you are now in Government and if you think this country’s economy is in a deteriorating state and need serious fixing, then put your political differences aside and work in unison to put it back on track.
Your continuous attack on each other will only be deemed as blame game.
Your actions and words does not deserve peoples trust and confidence.
Ruling regime cannot go against each other.
You cannot kick the ball into your own goal mouth.
Debating matters of national importance usually happened between MPs who stand on either sides.
MPs who are not satisfied with what the ruling regime is doing stand on the other side of the house (opposition side) and hold the Government in check.
Former PM, with due respect, please do the right thing.
The right place for you to stand and speak your mind if you disagree with what the Treasurer and the Government is doing is at the opposition.
