Query over selling of payslips

Letters

Is it right for education payslips to be sold on streets?
I recently entered two private finance companies in Madang and was surprised to see them printing teachers’ latest payslips.
I thought I was in the Fincorp salary section or Madang provincial education salaries section.
This things are confidential to Teaching Service Commission, provincial education department and its employees.
How are private finance companies charging teachers K10 and K3 for a printout?
Who knows, there may be some others still out there.
How re confidential ALESCO files going into the hands of these people?
The worse thing is it has been going on for some time, and I don’t know why teachers are not reporting it.
Of course, teachers need payslips, but they themselves can approach their salaries’ office or email Fincorp salaries.
Anybody on the streets cannot have access to such information and sell it to teachers when it supposed to be collected free.
Can the Secretary for Education and Madang provincial education board look into such corrupt practices?
Can they tell the country if this is right and these companies are registered with Education Department to do such?
I suggest that an investigation team be be set up by the department to weed out corrupt people involved starting from Fincorp, down to Madang and other provinces.

Thank you.
