Ramu NiCo school fee aid

 RAMU NiCo Ltd and its joint venture partners have committed K50,000 for each year as school fee assistance to landowners of the project over the next five years.

The company took the initiative during the Ramu Nickel Mining project memorandum of agreement (MoA) review last week in Madang.

The company said in its presentation at the review meeting that the money would be distributed through the four landowner associations which are Kurumbukari (KBK), Maigari-Inland Pipeline, Coastal Pipeline (CPL) and Basamuk.

The funds will be distributed as follows: KBK – K17,000; Maigari – K11,000; CPL – K11,000; and Basamuk – K11,000.
