Ramu NiCo trains safety representatives

EIGHTEEN representatives from processing departments at Ramu NiCo Management’s (MCC) Basamuk refinery in Madang recently attended a one-day warden training on a emergency management plan and preparedness.
The training conducted last Saturday was part of the Ramu NiCo Mining Ltd emergency management plan on preparedness and to ensure the safety representatives in all processing departments know their roles and responsibilities as area wardens in their respective work places.
The training was also intended to up-skill the safety representatives to competently perform their roles and responsibilities as area warden during an evacuation situation.
Two safety representatives from contractor companies Raibus Security Services and Raibus Engineering Limited also attended the area warden training.
