Raukele look for third win against Zara

RAUKELE will look to register their third win when they face Zara Wanderers in round 11 of the Port Moresby Cricket Association tomorrow.
“We’re hoping to maintain consistency from the last two wins,” president Dean Ani told The National.
Raukele opening batter Tony Ura won’t be available due to representative duties.
“Tony is preparing to travel with the Papua New Guinea Barramundis to Darwin, Australia,” Ani said.
Despite Ura’s unavailability, experienced campaigner Jason Kila will guide the team.
“We will be banking on Jason to lead the team because he has vast experience as a Barramundis player,” Ani said.
“We also have other senior players and top-order batsman Emmanuel Karoiwa.
“Karoiwa has been outstanding with the bat, he had a great knock of 109 runs in last weekend’s victory.
“We’re hoping that he continues his form.”
Ani said Warren Hobart and Jessie Iamo would lead their bowling.
They will be assisted by reliable medium-pace bowler Robert Naime.
