Rebels to toast long partnership

CITY Pharmacy Limited and Rebels Netball Club in the Port Moresby Netball Competition will be commemorate 24 years of partnership this year.
According to a statement by CPL, the partnership which spanned 24 years is considered as unique one in the sport of netball becuase of its longevity.
The sponsorship started in 1995 thanks to Barbara Penrose Stubbing, a dual national representative in netball and tennis, who orchestrated the partnership along with the pioneer executives such as Emily Taule and Jenny Ramamurthy.
The Rebels management comprises president Emily Taule, secretary Marinama Maha, treasurer Lysa Kalo, vice-treasurer Mary Parker, Tteam manager Kalisi Kovea, head of junior coaching Lynette Maha and head of senior coaching Oti Sarufa Lasagavibau.
Sarufa, who also works for the CPL Foundation, said the partnership had grown over the years mainly because of the common objectives shared by both parties.
