Recruitment challenged

Letters

IN reference to recent posts on social media regarding the attack on the innocent doctor in Port Moresby by soldiers, the same applies to police.
The police force’s recruitment panel should be fired for recruitment involving bribery and nepotism.
Police brutality has been bad.
This is not only in one part of the country but everywhere.
When they come across any minor mistakes by any citizen, all formality is forgotten.
Whether the person is a pregnant mother or a sick patient, they just go ahead and boot them.
This is totally sickening,
Members of the PNGDF are also implicated in this unacceptable and extreme behaviour towards innocent citizens.
Many good people have missed out on selection into both the police and defence force.
Both forces should review their recruitment criteria.
