Redo vetting project

THE Department of Petroleum and Energy  especially on the clan vetting project team has been called to redo a social mapping and land owner identification studies before the final determination of the national gazette date is confirmed by the minister.

More than 10 clans missed out and I, as a leader from that area, would like the state to redo the separate vetting for the Hiwa block in Hides PDL1.

Many of the clans should have been included with the existing nine clans but that was never done.

The clans within the mountains could have been identified but only identified nine existing clans as the only clans in the Hiwa site.

This is an unfair decision and I now call for the clan vetting project team to consider this issue and redo the clan vetting project.
