Release funds for highway

Letters

THE Government should release the approved K66 million Australian funded project funds for the maintenance of Lae-Bulolo-Wau National highway in Bulolo, Morobe, so work can start.
Morobe MPs should check with Prime Minister James Marape for this during the budget sitting.
Morobe is the gateway to the Highlands and we cannot just sit and be treated as a second class province anymore.
The people want to see work on the highway commence before next year’s general elections.
Bulolo hosts the Hidden Valley mine, Wafi-Golpu, PNG Forest Products, Zenag and alluvial gold mine projects.
Treating us like this is not right.

Former Bulolo MP
