Reopening of prison hailed

The reopening of the once abandoned Hawa prison in Tari, Hela, is one significant milestone that parties involved in the law and justice sector will achieve as far as lawlessness is concerned.
Tagali LLG president Hekele Undialu said Hela needed a functioning prison facility and that was one of the priorities that the four Hela MPs, including Hela Governor Philip Undialu and Tari-Pori MP James Marape, must pursue at the national level with the authorities such as Department of Correctional Services, Department of Justice and Attorney General and Department of Prime Minister and National Executive Council.
