LUTHERAN Christian Representatives from the 17 districts have spoken through the ballot papers.
Like any other denominations the leaders need to be critical in their obligations and responsibilities.
Discourage secularism mentalities and try all best to promote Holiness at best to make decisions so that the members of the church literally see what is happening and we can be proud of our dedication, believe and faith in our Good Lord.
Accountability and transparency is another area that of concern to the 2.5 million members .
Not even a single report on our church managed corporate entities that were sold or wind up or currently in progress come to surface over the last eight years.
These projects and facilities are important assets of the Church but we have not heard their annual reports.
However as member of the ELC-PNG, I acknowledge the great work of the current leaders particularly the office of the general secretary in relation to the retainment of church lands in Madang and Lae based on National Court Verdicts.
A job well done.
We all believe that the Malahang Land opposite to Martin Luther Seminary is the ideal location for the Lutheran University of Papua New Guinea (LUPNG) Headquarters plus accommodation of five or six different faculties as the commencement of structural developments for the LUPNG.
