Road to finish on time, State told

 HIDES Gas Development Company Ltd chairman Tuguyawini Libe Parindali has assured the Government that the upgrading of the road from Nogoli to Komo in Hela will be completed on time and within budget.

He said during the signing of the K87,428,803.46 contract this week that Hela Roads JV Ltd was committed to the project backed by the expertise and experience of the two joint venture partners – Hides Gas Development Company Ltd and Shamrock Civil (PNG) Ltd. 

He thanked the Government “for making sure that one of the clauses in the LBBSA and UBSA is honoured through the signing of this contract”.

“This is a milestone for the people of Hela and for the people of Angore, Hides, Juha, Benaria Pipeline and Komo airport who own the company that I represent – Hides Gas Development Company Ltd.”

He said Hides Gas Development Company Ltd was a home-grown corporate citizen partnering with Shamrock Civil (PNG) Ltd, an Australian company. “The giving of the contract to HGDC and Shamrock is not by mistake.”
