Roosters on top in McGregor Rugby League competition

MOITAKA Roosters occupy pole spot as the McGregor Rugby League heads into the business end of its competition.
Behind Roosters in second spot are 8-Mile Talapias followed by 9-mile United, McGregor Knights, Evedahana Saints, McGregor Pythons, NPF Panthers and Goldie Warriors.
For the B-Grade teams, McGregor Pythons are in top spot followed by Goldie Warriors, 9-Mile United, Moitaka Roosters, Bomana Rangers, Evedahana Saints, McGregor Knights, and NPF Panthers.
North East Sports Foundation president Emmanuel Koima said the knockouts would proceed this weekend and the grand finals would be held on the following Sunday.
“We have selected the best from each team to take part in the Ipatas Cup this year,” Koima said.
The head coach is Emmanual Koim and Wesley Peter will be his deputy. Fredgil Orosota and Peter Ipape have been named as trainers.
Clubs are asked to complete all the outstanding penalties and fees.
