PORT Moresby Women’s Softball Association reigning champions United Sisters and Saints face of in a rematch of last year’s grand final at the Bisini Diamonds tomorrow.
With a host of great batters in the likes of Georgina Mautu, Florence Daple, Tessa Karai, Helen Gebore, Priscilla Mocke and Niatang Pokanau, Sisters should prove too strong for Saints. But a young Saints outfit, led by veteran Stephanie Manning, will be out to give Sisters a run for their money.
In the other matches, Stingerz and Bears should have a good game, with a draw a possibility.
The game between Yokomo and Chebu should see the latter come out victorious.
Mariners are expected to provide a good challenge against Gazelle.
Gazelle, with captain and pitcher Navasha Pilak and veteran catcher Matilda Pondriket calling the shot, will be aiming for nothing less than a win.
They are oozing confidence following their win in the pre-season final.
