THE Sinners Saving Ministry successfully hosted its 40th anniversary jubilant crusade last week at Raiakam in the Tsak valley of Wapenamanda, Enga.
During the crusade, the ministry also launched its “possessing the mind of Christ and functioning in His likeness as sons” blueprint for the next chapter.
Sinners Saving Ministry was established in May 1983 at Wanimas village, Tsak valley, Enga, by Pastor Waingi Joe Benjamin Mambu.
During the crusade last week, thousands of followers from within and outside of the province attended and participated in the various activities including dances, drama plays and songs.
General overseer Pr El Stanley Mambu emphasised on the importance of unity in carrying out God’s work. He told the crusade that all churches would need to work together in the preaching and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ focusing on peace and hope for all communities.
A “jubilant day” was observed last Friday where representatives from the Enga government, Wapenamanda district and other local leaders attended.
Among the guests were Fr Nathaniel of the Pumakos parish of the Wabag diocese. Fr Nathaniel congratulated the ministry for continuously witnessing and upholding the Gospel of Christ in its various activities for more than 40 years.
Local leaders and elders also echoed similar sentiments, commending the work of God as churches also played crucial roles in promoting law and order in communities.
