School receives K500,000

THE National Fisheries Authority has given K500,000 to Dangsai High School on Karkar Island for the construction of a double classroom.
Authority managingm director Justin Ilakini said helping to develop the school was “part of our responsibility for communities”.
School principal Damion Serok said: “This is one of the isolated schools in Madang but the authority has been so kind to support us”.
According to the authority, the contractor had assured that work on the classroom would begin next month.
Madang would soon host a multi-billion Pacific Marine Industrial Zone project in Vidar.
